Why do most of people like Smartphones? Probably because smartphones provide a lot of fun or maybe for deliver some important functionality, like Messengers, internet browsing, RSS, Password managers, e.t.c. But wait, we, I mean ordinary users of Sony Ericsson's non smarts, we all can use the same things, we can have messengers and RSS readers and browsers, and lot of other things that smartphones support. How? Glad you asked. Little Java applications gonna help us with that :)

Here are some of my favorite free Java applications that I use practically every day :)

Mobispine:

Mobispine AB develops a client application used for mobile Internet. With Mobispine, users can personalize the selection of news and updates that they like to read in their mobiles. Mobispine makes the large amount of Internet content accessible in the mobile. In addition it compresses the data transfer required so that data traffics costs are decrease by up to 20 times. The software is free of charge for users.

JAM SE:

JAM SE is a free mobile application for a range of Java enabled mobile phones that allows you to control your music collection from your phone, using Bluetooth.
JAM SE requires a Server supporting the Bemused Protocol and a PC with a Bluetooth adapter. Browse or search your music collection on your phone, play most files supported by your music player - including MP3s, CDs, etc.
Control your music player. Pause, stop, rewind, forward your playlist, add songs to the playlist, use shuffle and repeat and control the volume of your player.
Browse and select songs in your playlist; download songs to your phone, customise the look of your phone application with skins.
You can even shut down the PC from your phone.
