Make your SE Phone smarter - Part II

Why do most of people like Smartphones? Probably because smartphones provide a lot of fun or maybe for deliver some important functionality, like Messengers, internet browsing, RSS, Password managers, e.t.c. But wait, we, I mean ordinary users of Sony Ericsson's non smarts, we all can use the same things, we can have messengers and RSS readers and browsers, and lot of other things that smartphones support. How? Glad you asked. Little Java applications gonna help us with that :)

Here are some of my favorite free Java applications that I use practically every day :)

J2medit:

J2MEdit is a powerful and easy to use source code editor and syntax highlighter for Java J2ME mobile devices. J2MEdit allows you to create, edit, store, share, and compile source code in various programming languages including Java, C/C++, PHP, and HTML. Standard text documents can also be created allowing you to easily compose notes, lists, and word wrapped documents. J2MEdit gives you the option to store files either locally or over the internet and even share files with others.

Mobile Secretary:

MobileSecretary is your personal assistant that helps you to keep/store your data in secure way. It encrypts your data and store properly in your mobile phone. You can easily access your stored data any time, any way. You can store your credit card details, any system`s login details, bank account information, web login accounts (user name and password), addresses, URL and much more. You can even create your custom forms to suite your need, and the fun things is, there is 20 changeable built in icons that can be used to make your custom form looks nicer!

Navigami:

Navigami is a noncommercial one man project. It was started in summer 2005 as a simple user interface for a bluetooth GPS mouse. Various functions were added later. The most complex subproject is the map support. It was needed to develop new API for working with vector data and create usable maps using free data available on the internet.
